This is the Privacy Policy of SALT Insure Inc, and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (collectively, “Company”) regarding your use and interaction with Company and its software applications, websites and cloud server (collectively, the “Site”). By using our site, you consent to our websites privacy policy.
We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways other than those outlined in this Privacy Policy. Company collects information from our users at several different points on the Site. Personal Information (defined below) provided by users (“you”) will be used by Company to improve the Site and provide a more personalized experience for the user, but information which identifies a specific individual will not be disclosed to others without the user’s permission unless necessary to provide services which the user has requested.
This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.
Company is based in Texas and is only required to comply with Texas and applicable U.S. data and privacy laws. Do not use the Site or if any provision of this Privacy Policy does not comply with any laws of your jurisdiction.
Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use which are incorporated herein by reference (the “Terms”). In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms, the provisions of this Privacy Policy will prevail.
This Service is for use by insurance agents (“Agents”) and/or their clients and prospects. Any data or material provided by You may be shared with Agents. Similarly, Agents may provide information about You to the Services to facilitate Your use of the Services. You agree to allow Agents to provide this data about You to us in connection with the Services.
As part of the Services, we may also obtain data about You from third parties data providers including but limited to Google, Estated, Fenris, etc. (collectively “Public Data”), which are used to enhance the Services. By using the Services, You agree to allow SALT to obtain this Public Data, and that any information You provide to SALT or that SALT obtains about You from Public Data can be shared with the Agents.
You agree only to provide Your true and correct data in connection with the Services. If you are an Agent, you agree to provide true and correct data about all prospects and customers. All data received by SALT in connection with the services, whether from You, an Agent, or Public Data, is deemed to be true and correct. You acknowledge and agree that SALT is not responsible for any data provided about You, regardless of its source, nor for how that data might be interpreted or used by an Agent or potential Insurance Carriers.
Agents may seek to obtain an insurance score (a “Score”) based on the data provided by You, the Agent, and/or Public Data. By using the Services, You consent to the creation of the Your Score and the sharing of Your Score with the Agents. Although the Score may impact what products and services You are offered by Agents, You acknowledge and agree that SALT has no liability or responsibility for any use of the Score by Agents.
For purposes of the remainder of these Terms, “You” shall apply to individual prospects or customers of Agents using the Service, as well as Agents who use the Service.
General. We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you including (but not limited to): your name, e-mail address, postal address, date of birth, and URL (collectively, “Personal Information”). Generally, this information is requested when you complete a request for an insurance quote from an Agent.
We use your Personal Information for the following primary purposes:
We may ask for certain personal data to make our services available to you. We only ask for information associated with your account or the administration. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy. The minimum information that Company Inc requires is an e-mail address for registration and contact purposes. We may also ask for payment and business information for invoicing purposes.
In addition, from our Site Company collects personal data through web form submissions, primarily for the purpose of enabling the purchase of services and engaging in support. Company also collects anonymous information about how visitors use our web site; for example, Company utilizes web analytics software to track, in aggregate, the number of unique views received by the pages of the web site, the domains from which users originate along with many other analytical data points. Through the use of web analytics software, the Company Site may use "cookies" to assist the tracking of how users engage our website.
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, respond to a survey or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We are a Zero-Log service provider and Do Not keep records of your traffic, browsing, or activity while using our services. We do analyze website functionality for performance for purposes of improving our service offerings to our customers. Our priority is to educate and make it easy for customers to understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Web Beacons. Web beacons are very small, invisible graphics present on web pages or emails that help us track when the page or email has been accessed. Some parts of the Site, emails and other files may use web beacons, also known as clear gif technology or action tags. We do not use web beacons to collect, use or store any Personal Information about you.
Customer Service. Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we may send you a confirmation e-mail to act as a receipt of your purchase. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries and to provide the services you request.
Business Services. We will also communicate with you in connection with services you request from Company.
Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Company is committed to ensuring that your account information, including your customer information, is protected while you are on the Site. If for some reason you believe Company has not adhered to the principles of this Privacy Policy, please notify us, and we will do our best to determine and correct the problem promptly.
Any notices or other communication required or permitted to be made or given by either Party pursuant to this Privacy Policy will be in writing, in English, and will be deemed to have been duly given when delivered if delivered to the address specified herein or such other address as Company may specify in writing.
